Rep. Murtha's Comments

Representative John Murtha's condemnation of the 24 Marines was unbelievable. Here is a Representative of the U.S. government, and a former U.S. Marine, accusing these Marines of cold-blooded murder. Murtha's comments on Tim Russert's show started with "I know what happened" as if he himself had done something similar.

Notice that both Murtha and Kerry say these negative things about what the military does, or in Kerry's case, what it did, almost as if they know what happened first hand. Perhaps, we need to investigate Murtha's performance in war as he seems to have concluded what happened in Haditha based upon his personal experience. As you know, there is no statute of limitation on murder, so perhaps we need an investigation into his actions, and those under his command.

This is a prime example of why the geriatric society on the Hill needs to be shut down. Let's move the capitol to the Mid-west and leave those politicians currently in DC in DC.

How could the best generation be followed by the worst?

Murtha needs to apologize or resign. Afterall, don't we owe it to our military to assume they're innocent until proven guilty, or is that only allowed for terrorists and illegal aliens?
