Katrina: Whose fault?

The 24 hour news cycle keeps pushing the blame game trying to play Monday morning quarterback on a crisis still in progress. I have one idea:

Why don't we focus on solving the problem, i.e. saving people, rather than assessing blame.

After the crisis is over, we can sit back and assess blame. Knowing the current state of the political class in the US, I'm sure there will be plenty of incompetence to go around at the local, state and federal levels.
